New York Entry #2

Some of the activities we did the first few days:

On the top deck looking back at Manhattan. Windy and chilly, but sunny day!

We went to the Intrepid Museum, which is a museum on an decommissioned aircraft carrier that has a bunch of old prop planes, jets, and helicopters on deck (my favorite was the seeing the legendary SR-71 Blackbird). Inside the ship they had exhibits on the history and anecdotes of USS Intrepid and I walked through the living quarters of the crew -- tiny and no privacy.

We saw a Broadway play called "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder", which was a witty and hilarious play about a guy who is on a quest to kill off his eight relatives who stand in the way of him inheriting a fortune from the death of his distant relative. The play is known for having one talented actor who plays all eight of those relatives as they all die one by one in comical ways.

Not as packed as Chelsea or Gotham West market.

We also stumbled upon an indoor market (similar to Gotham West Market and Chelsea Market) called Gansevoort Market. A selection of mini food stands made for a good snack break.
